When: Wednesday, June 24, 1 p.m.
Where: Science 108
What: Fourth Meeting of ARG (Augsburg R-users Group) focusing on loading in data of MANY different formats

Full description:

Have you ever wanted to use R/RStudio but didn't know where to start? Are you learning R/RStudio, but have hit a wall? Are you a seasoned R user and want to learn some new tricks? Do you have wisdom (about R/RStudio) to share with your colleagues?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, than ARG (Augsburg R-user Group) is for you! ARG will be meeting Wednesday, June 24, in Science 108. This time we will be exploring how to load in data, which is a crucial step! We will discuss the foreign package which allows you to import SAS, stata, SPSS, minitab, and other kinds of data formats, as well as how to import Excel spreadsheets! You will be a data importing aficionado in under an hour! Bring your laptop, your friendly spirit, and your eagerness to learn and share with this new community of R users at Augsburg.

Newcomers are always welcome! Be sure to bring your laptop! If you are new to R and RStudio, you can download R to your computer (for free) from this website: http://cran.r-project.org/ and you can download RStudio (still free) from this website: http://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/
