Keeping Track of Auggies

New Physics Faculty Keep Busy

Mary Lanzerotti in the Physics Department just returned from Rome, Italy, in June 2015 as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Engineering at University of Rome Tre to explore potential cooperation on complex circuitry designs for network systems in morphing structures with multi-scale intelligence by mimicking nature.

She also attended the American Society of Engineering Education Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington, in June 2015 to present a paper describing increasing student and faculty participation and student learning in an undergraduate STEM summer research program in a government institution through a higher education partnership.

Mary Lanzerotti also attended the National Aeronautics and Electronics Conference in Dayton, Ohio, in June 2015 to present phase measurement approaches for a multi-tier weak radio signal detection process with N simultaneous signals having continuous phase. She also co-authored a second paper on topological constraints of gate-level circuits obtained through standard cell recognition and co-chaired two sessions on Trust in Microelectronics.
