Spring Course - Peer Ministry
YFM205 PEER MINISTRY (MWF 9:20 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Jan. 12- Feb. 27)
This is a 2.0 credit course in which you will learn how to teach Peer Leadership programs in congregations, also easily adapted for school and youth serving organizations. You will personally learn relational skills and how to facilitate them turning those sometime quirky, sometimes overly silly, rambunctious kids into amazing student leaders by educating the heart with peer leadership skills.
Guest Instructor - Lyle Griner, National Peer Ministry Leadership Director, is a connoisseur of "Ah-Ha" moments as soulfully curious youth and families wrestle with the nuances of faith and life! A writer, teacher, youth minister, he is working across the country to help congregations expand and deepen their youth ministry. He is also one of the trainers and hosts for "The Living Room Summits," making family ministry a reality.

Mixed Blood Theatre's According to Coyote - Monday
In Celebration of National Native American Heritage Month
Mixed Blood Theatre's According To Coyote Comes To Augsburg College THIS MONDAY, November 17th.
The Mixed Blood Theatre presents its wildly entertaining play According To Coyote at Augsburg College on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 12-1 p.m. in the Christensen Center, East Commons. A collection of American Indian legends and stories, the performance is sponsored by Augsburg Indigenous Student Association and American Indian Student Services for everyone. Free and open to all!
An full-throttled anthology of tales featuring the legendary hero of American Indian lore, According To Coyote is also an unforgettable encounter with the richness, vitality, and sensibilities of Native culture. Playwright John Kauffman gloriously employs age-old techniques of music, dance, magic, and narrative to bring to life this brave/foolish/sneaky/wise character in all his guises: Coyote the Creator, the namer of animals and bringer of fire; Coyote the Trickster, conniving for an advantage that usually backfires on him; and Coyote the Teacher, from whom lessons of humility, wisdom, and humanity are learned.
Please join us for this event!
