Keeping Track of Auggies

Jim Erchul to Retire

Jim Erchul, director of enrollment planning and systems development, has announced his plan to retire from Augsburg on Aug. 3, 2012, after 15 years of service to the college. Jim began working in Augsburg's Information Technology department in 1997, and moved to the Enrollment Management division in 2003. In addition to managing college information systems and admissions technology, Jim has played a key role in tracking, analyzing and forecasting student enrollment information across all of the college's academic programs. Jim has also been at the center of Augsburg's institutional research, producing the annual Factbook, enrollment profiles, retention and graduation analyses; reporting data to external agencies such as IPEDS, NCAA, the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and myriad surveys; and supporting departmental and institutional planning through various studies and data reporting. Jim's thoughtful leadership and commitment to thorough, accurate and comprehensive analysis have been a tremendous asset to Augsburg. Please join the Enrollment Management Division in celebrating Jim's contributions and bidding him farewell on Friday, July 27, from 2-4 p.m in the Marshall Room.
