General Announcements
Free Lockers Available for 2012-2013
Campus Activities and Orientation has a limited number of lockers that students can reserve for their use for the 2012-2013. These lockers are completely free and are located on the ground floor of Science Building. Lockers are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and priority is given to students who commute from off-campus. Please go to web.augsburg.edu/cao/Student Locker Request Form.pdf to find the locker request form and return it to the Auggie's Nest located on the basement level of Christensen Center.

On-Campus Housing Available

April 30th is Midnight breakfast in the Commons from 10:00pm-11:30pm. Must bring student ID to enter.
All flex points end on May 4th at 3pm, they do not carry over to the next semester.
Take the Transportation Survey Today
The Augsburg Environmental Stewardship Committee is conducting a survey of transportation choices made by campus commuters. All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to respond to the brief survey at:

Completing the survey will take only a few minutes, and all responses will be kept anonymous, so please be as accurate as possible. This survey will allow us to update our information on transportation to and from campus in 2011, and will be used to help calculate our greenhouse gas emissions inventory.
Spanish Conversation Today
Take a break from the end-of-semester stress in Spanish conversation group. All language levels are welcome to join us for laughs and interesting conversation as we practice speaking in a relaxed and friendly setting. Drop in at any time and stay for as long as you like. We promise there will be no grammar lessons!
This Thursday the Spanish Conversation group will meet in the Riverside Rm., 2nd fl. Christensen Center, from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. Look for our signs. You are welcome to bring your lunch. Thursday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. Jenna Leahy, Hannah Green, and Sarah Matthews will be performing in Sataren Auditorium. All are welcome to come hear their music then enjoy refreshments afterward in M5 of the Music Building!
ACTC English Majors Conference this Friday in OGC
The Augsburg English Department is proud to host the 2012 ACTC English Majors Conference this coming Friday in the Oren Gateway Center from 2:30-8:00 p.m. This year's conference will showcase the scholarly projects of Augsburg English majors Mina Halling, Taelor Johnson, Katie Lawson, and Caitlin Wirth, and the poetry of Steven Saari, alongside the work of visiting English majors from Hamline, Macalester, St. Catherine's, and St. Thomas. Students, faculty, and visitors are welcome to attend panel sessions starting at 3 p.m. on British literature (OGC 100) and Film, Media, and Theory (OGC 111), and at 4:45 p.m. on American literature (OGC 100) and World and Multicultural literature (OGC 111).

Ann Butwell's hand-batiked pieces have been showing throughout the year. Her final piece will be displayed this Thursday. Formerly a program coordinator in the Center for Global Education office at Augsburg College, she is now the Education Abroad Advisor at Berea College in Kentucky.
