Augsburg has been awarded the McNair Scholars Program Grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The McNair Scholars Program at Augsburg is funded to serve 25 students who are low-income and first-generation and/or from underrepresented groups in graduate education to prepare them for graduate school through involvement in research and other scholarly activities.

As we settle into the Fall term, Academic Advising will offer adviser training for all-new faculty advisers and accommodate returning advisers as we are able. The training sessions will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 4 5:30 p.m. AND Thursday, Oct.11 from 8 9:30 a.m. in Sverdrup 205. This PC lab only has 20 PCs; however, we will try to accommodate as many faculty as is possible for each session.

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity (URGO) is hosting LSAT Prep on campus this fall. The cost for current students is $100 and $150 for Augsburg alums (or others), which includes the cost of a 2007 test prep book.
