Message: The Office of Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity (URGO) will be hosting a GRE prep course on campus this semester for current students and alums. The course will be held for six weeks: Tuesdays, September 25, October 2, October 9, October 16, October 23, and October 30 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Counseling & Health Promotion reminds interested students, staff and faculty that stress relief is on its way with yoga and tai chi starting up again for the fall semester next week. Please mark your calendars for Tuesday and Thursday from noon - 1:00 p.m. for yoga instruction. Yoga will be held in the Marshall Room (Christensen Center). Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to bring a mat.

ABO is an Augsburg student organization which is dedicated to making connections with students and the Twin Cities business community. Located on the ground floor of Lindell Library (left of the circulation desk), the lab provides one-on-one tutoring for writing any paper in any discipline in the College. Message: Friends and colleagues are invited to an 80th birthday celebration for Dr. Phil Quanbeck on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Iverson Hall at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 41st Street and Lyndale Avenue in South Minneapolis. The celebration, hosted by Phil and Dora's children, will include a brief program at 3:30 p.m. Bring a special memory – a tender moment or humorous recollection – to jot down on a 4" x 6" page (provided), which will be compiled into a special book of memories. Looking for Used Knitting/Crocheting Supplies
Message: The Women's Resource Center is looking for any used knitting/crocheting supplies, including needles, hooks, and yarn (this is a great chance to weed out your yarn stash!) We are collecting supplies for our soon-to-be-announced "Stitch 'n Bitch" Monday nights. Some of the handwork made in this group will then be donated to a worthy cause.
