It's Summer in the Writing Lab
Good news for summer term students: The Writing Lab is now open. Summer hours are Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 7 p.m. The WL is located on the street level of Lindell Library and is left of the circulation desk. No appointments are taken; just show up with a hard copy of a writing assignment (or your ideas for a first draft).

Staff Performance Review Training is on HR Moodle
The last staff training session for Augsburg's new online performance review system was held on 5/3. Leadership Summit featuring Jodi Harpstead
The second annual Leadership Summit - co-hosted by the Midway Chamber of Commerce and the Augsburg Masters of Arts in Leadership - will take place on Wednesday, May 18 at noon in Foss Chapel. This year's featured speaker will be Jodi Harpstead, CEO of Lutheran Social Services and an Augsburg Regent. Her leadership topic will be "150 Years of Learning to Live Together - Midway in our Journey?"
The lunch and program is open to the public. To register, go to the Midway Chamber website at: http://www.midwaychamber.com/events/details/leadership-summit-at-augsburg-college-332937 Since the Leadership Studies program is a member of the Chamber you will get the reduced rate. There is also an optional morning program.

Brown Bag May 17: HealthPartners Tools
Have you ever been confused navigating your health plan? Have you tried to find a doctor in your network or a pharmacy nearby? Or maybe you've tried to figure out if your prescriptions are covered and how much they'll cost, but to no avail? I have the perfect solution for you! You're invited to attend a brown bag lunch to learn more about the tools available to you through HealthPartners (such as the Drug Cost Calculator).
On Tuesday, May 17, from 12 - 1 p.m., in Lindell 301, a representative from HealthPartners will be joining us. Get all of your questions answered and maybe learn about some great resources you weren't already familiar with.
