$10 Target gift card for research study participants

Hello Students,

My name is Darby Lindgren and I am a senior Exercise Science student and an URGO researcher this summer at Augsburg. I am investigating a modified version of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) test in Division III male college soccer players and need healthy male Augsburg College students (ages 18-24) to participate in this study as part of the control group. You do not need to be currently a part of an Augsburg athletic team to participate.

This study involves a one-hour visit to Kennedy Center Physiology lab (room 309) for Functional Movement Screen testing and a video of a single-leg squat.

Participants will receive a $10 gift card to Target. You can come back after a week for further research testing and another $5 gift card.

You can reach me at: lindgre6@augsburg.edu to get more details or to schedule an appointment time.

Thank you!

$10 Cash for Participation in Psych Memory Study

Hello Students,

My name is Diamonique Walker. I am a senior studying psychology at Augsburg. This summer, as a part of my McNair Research project, I am collecting data on autobiographical memory, episodic memory, and working memory.

This study involves about an hour visit to the Psychology Research Lab (Anderson 26) which will include partaking in 4 memory/executive function tasks and a survey portion that requires participants to write out personal memories.

This study can take up to an hour and for that students who participate will be compensated with $10 in cash.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact me at walkerdd@augsburg.edu

$5 Cash Incentive for Research Study Participants

Hello Fellow Auggies!

My name is Anabel Chavez, a Social Psychology major and McNair Scholar at Augsburg College. I am conducting research this summer, and I would like to invite you to participate in my study!

This study measures how autobiographical memories can affect satisfaction in a romantic relationship. Therefore the study will ask for participants to disclose two personal relationship-defining memories. Participants are required to be at least 18 years of age and are currently in a romantic (but not marital) relationship. Participants are also required to have been in their current romantic relationship for at least 6 months (or longer).

The study contains two phases, one which requires you to complete an online survey on your own time or at home (5-10 minutes), and the second phase requires you to come to campus to take a more extensive survey (20-30 minutes). Participants will also receive a $5 cash compensation at this time.

For any further questions, concerns, or to schedule an appointment, please send me an e-mail at chavez@augsburg.edu

Thank You!

WANTED: Patio chairs for the community garden

Our community gardeners work hard and sometimes need to take breaks. We'd love to have some of those plastic stack-able patio chairs to store in the shed for them! If you have any lying around in your garage or backyard just waiting to be used, bring them over! We could also use foldable camping chairs. Anything that can easily be stashed inside a shed without taking up lots of room. Email Allyson (greena@augsburg.edu) if you think you've got something to share! Thanks!
