Metro Transit Info Table Wed. and Thurs.

Ever think about how you can save money while helping our planet? Would you rather read or do a puzzle on your way into work or class instead of navigating city traffic? Metro Transit is "the route" to take! Consider the more affordable, "green" way to work or class by using the Metro Transit bus and light rail system!

A Metro Transit representative will be handing out information at Christensen Center on Wednesday, September 9 and Thursday, September 10 from 4-8 p.m. Come on by to plan your route and learn about why Metro Transit is an exceptional alternative for commuters.

Vote Khadra Ibrahim for Freshmen Senator

Hi, my name is Khadra Ibrahim. I am a freshmen here at Augsburg College. I am a business management major with a minor in women's studies I am running for both first class, and junior class senator positions. I am highly passionate about making a change in our community and being the voice of our student body. I want to collaborate with the students in order to express their concerns to the faculty and staff here at Augsburg College. This way I'll be able to bridge the gap between students and faculty, securing our community and thriving together.

One thing that's unique to me is that I am Somali American. Growing up here, I can see from multiple perspectives aside from my own. I've also had experience in student government positions trying to implement diversity. I hope to share my own background as well as learning from you all along the way.

If you have any questions, you can email me at Ibrahimk@augsburg.edu
I'll also be tabling in the Christiansen lobby starting Tuesday, September 8th from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
