Gradebook Workshops This Week
Take advantage of three open sessions this week to help you set up, organize and fine-tune your Moodle gradebook to align with your syllabus.
The Moodle gradebook enables you to:
* Integrate all graded activities (including in-class assessments)
* Provide students immediate, private, and formative assessment
* Reduce time addressing student questions about grades
* Reuse the grading setup the next time you offer the course
Location: Lindell Library 301

Tuesday (September 1) 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Wednesday (September 2) 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Thursday (September 3) 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Walk-ins are welcome. You will receive support from a member of our E-Learning Team. Come and go when you can, but plan on allocating approximately 30 minutes. Bring your laptop if you like, but we will have technology available if you don't.

Take Me Out to the Ballpark
Thursday, September 10, 5-7 p.m.
Faculty and Staff, join us for the first CTL event of the year. This event will introduce participants to two local institutions as well as provide time to get better acquainted with colleagues.
Professor Kristin Anderson of the Art Department will lead us on a behind-the-scenes tour of Target Field. The tour will include the Roof Deck, Metropolitan Club, Legends Club, Press Box, Champions Club, and the Visitor's Clubhouse. The tour will start and end at Gate 6, right next to the light rail platform. After the tour, we'll head to the Fulton Brewery for some social time. CTL will pay for the tour, but not (sorry) the Fulton beverages.

Discounted Renaissance Fest Tickets for Sale in HR
While Supplies Last - Renaissance Fest Tickets for Sale
Augsburg Office of Human Resources is pleased to offer discounted 2015 Renaissance Festival tickets available for purchase starting Monday, August 10, 2015 in Human Resources. Tickets can be purchased by check or cash. If paying by cash, please be sure to have exact amount.
The Renaissance Festival is open weekends, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., rain or shine, August 22nd through October 4th. The festival will also be open on Labor Day on September 7th and Festival Friday on October 2nd. Parking is free.

Discounted ticket prices are:
Adult = $17.95 ($22.95 at the gate)
Child (ages 5-12) = $10.50 ($13.95 at the gate)

Bookstore Charging for the Fall Term
Students can pay for books directly OR charge up to $600 in books to their student account at the time of check out. Students can charge books to their student account in person at the bookstore until September 14th.
If you're planning to purchase your books online using Barnes and Noble's website, and you want to charge the books to your student account, please note that the charging to your account option will close the end of business day Monday September 7th. After this date, any charging to your account will need to happen in person at the bookstore.
Please note: You can still purchase books online, but all online purchases after September 7th will need be paid for out of pocket.
After charging has ended, all charges will be billed to the student account prior to financial aid disbursing.

One More State Fair Shift
