Exodus Documentary > Tonight (May 5)

Islam, Christianity, and Judaism memorialize "The Exodus" -- the escape of the descendants of Abraham from slavery in Egypt. But historians have asked, "Did the Exodus actually happen?" "Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus" sifts the archeological evidence.

Tuesday, May 5, 7-9 p.m. in Sateren Auditorium. (Doors open at 6:15.)

Admission: Free

This award-winning 2014 documentary challenges both "literalist" and "minimalist" understandings of history and the Bible. In addition to a screening of the film, there will be time for Q&A with local filmmaker, Tim Mahoney, as well as with David Rohl, one of the scholars featured in the film. Hosted by the Augsburg College Religion Department. For more information about the film, check out the website: http://www.patternsofevidence.com/en/
