Help with Your Moodle Gradebook Today and Tomorrow

Take advantage of two open sessions this week to help you set up, organize and fine-tune your Moodle gradebook to align with your syllabus.

The Moodle gradebook enables you to:
* Integrate all graded activities (including in-class assessments)
* Provide students immediate, private, and formative assessment
* Reduce time addressing student questions about grades
* Reuse the grading setup the next time you offer the course

Session Information:
Wednesday (Jan. 14) 12:30-3:00 p.m. in SVE 201
Thursday (Jan. 15) 12:00-1:40 p.m. in OGC 112

You will receive one-on-one support, and can come and go when you can - plan on allocating approximately 30 minutes.

Walk-ins are welcome. If you know you are interested, you can let me know with which course you want to work, and I will prepare some initial steps to get us going quickly. Bring your laptop if you like, but we will have technology available if you don't.

I look forward to helping you!

Academic Liaison for Computing

Focused Conversation TOMORROW 3:40 p.m.

As a college committed to the city and its urban setting, how can Augsburg provide a safe and secure learning environment and remain open and welcoming to the neighborhood and community members?

This is the question that will be addressed in Thursday's Focused Conversation, led by Ann Garvey, vice president of Student Affairs, and Scott Brownell, director of Public Safety and Risk Management:

Thursday, January 15 (TOMORROW) - 3:40 p.m. in the Marshall Room.

Learn about the services and requirements of the Department of Public Safety and share your experiences and questions about how we can balance safety and access on campus.

The spring-term Focused Conversations is posted on the "All Hands 2014-2015" page (in the College Reports section of Inside Augsburg). To access that page, log into Inside Augsburg and click the "All Hands" icon on the main page of Inside Augsburg. From that page, you can add events to your calendar by clicking on the date/time links.
