How Would You Reimagine Education?
The College of Education, Leadership & Counseling at the University of St. Thomas is organizing a TEDx event. "Taking Action to Reimagine Education!" will take place on October 15. The Campus Cupboard Has Open Summer Hours
Did you know The Campus Cupboard has open hours over the summer?
Every Wednesday from 4:30pm-5:30pm the doors are open, when summer classes are taking place.
The Cupboard is located in Foss, behind the doors next to the Tjornhom-Nelson Theatre.
Please come by to either stock your shelves for the week or to make a donation.
How do you know if you are eligible for using the Campus Cupboard?
All it takes is your Augsburg Student ID # and you can use Campus Cupboard. If you are a day student, WEC student, AU student or Graduate student you can use the Cupboard. Also, keep in mind that using the Campus Cupboard is completely confidential.
If the above time does not work for you, you can also make an appointment by sending an e-mail to the Campus Kitchen at campuskitchen@augsburg.edu.
Also, don't forget
there are bins still located around campus for donations!
You can drop items in the green bin by Einstein's Coffee Shop in Christensen or in the brown bag located in the Urness-Mortensen lobby.

New Wellness Challenge: Fruit Frenzy
Registration is open until JUNE 10!
Get wild and go bananas (or cherries or oranges)... for fruit! You can work toward your Personal Health Goal by adding fresh fruit into your daily routine. The Fruit Frenzy! Challenge will help you incorporate nutrient-rich fruits into your diet. This challenge is a part of the Active Wellness program. It is open to ALL Faculty and Staff.
Interested in some friendly competition with your coworkers?
How to participate:
- Eat at least two servings of fruit five days each week for three weeks (15 total days)
- Record your participation at www.myinteractivehealth.com/MyHealthTools
Use the Fruit and Veggie Tracker on the Challenge Dashboard or the Food Log to enter the fruits you've eaten
For participants that completed a Biometric screening as a part of our Active Wellness Program, successful completion of the Fruit Frenzy! Challenge will earn you 50 points towards reaching your personal Health Goal to be eligible for the 2015 incentive.
