Farmers Market Time Change - Now 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Every Tuesday
Campus Kitchen announces that we're changing the time of the West Bank Farmers Market. We're actually just swapping the times of the two markets. The new times are:
Tuesdays
Augsburg Foss Chapel: 11-1 p.m.
Brian Coyle Center: 2-5 p.m.
It's going to serve Brian Coyle much better, and should be a slight improvement for most people on campus. Now, come out on your lunch break. Purchase some fresh veggies to snack on, or get a fresh loaf of Campus Kitchen's zucchini bread or something from New French Bakery. Music and lunch options might be added in the coming weeks.
If you'd like to get regular messages about the market, including seasonal recipes and other information, sign up here: http://listserv.augsburg.edu/sympa/subscribe/westbankfarmersmarket-list

Mason Jars?
Campus Kitchen plans to start doing food preservation classes and canning next week using produce from the farmers market. You'll see pickles and other items at the Farmers Market, and the sale of these will help fund our EBT and translation services. To keep the project's costs low, we are looking for used Ball and Kerr canning jars (no lids or rings, just the glass). Do you have any that you would like to donate?
