Their outstanding scholarship has earned them membership in Alpha Kappa Delta, an international sociology honor society. They will be recognized in an April 20th initiation ceremony.

This year, weve welcomed over 140 fifth graders participating in the Get Ready program. A special thanks to Carrie Carroll and the Day Admissions staff, Randall Davidson, Stacy Cutinella, Susan Reinhart, Benjy Kent, Sue Copus, Jill Pohtilla, Chris Brown, Greg Holker and the many Augsburg students that shared their stories. Your contributions made the time these kids spent on campus enjoyable and memorable!

Spring in the Valley 2007, an Earth Day event, will be held at the private non-profit Silkesnas (silk-es-nas) Nature Preserve owned by Professor Lori Peterson & her husband Rob on Earth Day from 1-5pm. Activities are geared toward all ages and are held out of doors. Hiking on natural terrain of light difficulty is required. Visitors should plan to spend approximately two hours to take in all of the activities, including viewing the natural beauty of the area and visiting with and learning from the various subject matter experts volunteering at the Preserve.
