Message: Over the past several months the lobby of Sateren Music Hall has become the site of some new public art on campus. Join us this Thursday, April 19 from 5-7 p.m. as we honor the artists whose artwork now graces the space: Stephen Geffre, Norman Holen, Dan Noyes and Robyn Ommen. Get Outside: Sunday April 22 is Earth Day 2007

Spring in the Valley 2007, an Earth Day event, will be held at the private non-profit Silkesnas (silk-es-nas) Nature Preserve owned by Professor Lori Peterson & her husband Rob on Earth Day from 1-5pm. Activities are geared toward all ages and are held out of doors. Hiking on natural terrain of light difficulty is required. Visitors should plan to spend approximately two hours to take in all of the activities, including viewing the natural beauty of the area and visiting with and learning from the various subject matter experts volunteering at the Preserve.

To celebrate this occasion, the mathematics department and the student math club, Unbounded, are hosting a quick Euler Birthday Party at 3 pm on Wednesday, April 18 in SCI 108. Message: Augsburg Environmental Stewardship Committee is a hosting site for the National Wildlife Foundation's Chill Out! web cast this Wednesday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM in the Century Room. The event is a nation-wide Earth Day live broadcast about how college campuses can create positive solutions to the global warning dilemma.
