This event "kicks-off" our own campus events commemorating the centennial of the death of Henrik ibsen.
Message: Stop by the Christensen Center lobby today between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM and speak with representatives of Metro Transit, Metro Commuter Services, Augsburg Bike Commuters, HOURCAR and Transit for Livable Communities to learn more about viable alternatives to the single occupant automobile commute to campus. Augsburg's central location and readily available, generously discounted bus passes make public transit a real possibility for many faculty, students and staff. In addition, the local neighborhoods provide decent and affordable housing that make commuting by bicycle or walking very convenient. Many express bus lines, combined with light rail, also make public transit easier and faster than ever. Join the growing number of faculty, students and staff who are contributing to a better environment, reducing traffic congestion and reducing demand for parking through their use of alternative commuting options.
