We are encouraging all students, faculty and staff to vote in todays primary election.
Message: Counseling & Health Promotion invites all interested students, faculty and staff to join us for free yoga sessions today and every Tuesday from noon - 1 p.m. in the Marshall Room. Feel free to bring your own mat and wear comfortable clothes. Also tonight from 5 - 6 p.m. again in the Marshall Room there will be tai chi instruction for all interested students, faculty and staff. The yoga and tai chi sessions are free and will be held every Tuesday. You can come as often as you are able to do so. Any questions, call the CCHP office at 612-330-1707.

This is a great paid opportunity for work-study eligible students who want to tutor local kids in the neighborhood! Augsburg Reads is a program in collaboration with Trinity's Safe Place Program, which helps local neighborhood kids with homework help from 3-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

German professor writes history of Bach's Leipzig

John Van Cleve, Modern Languages, has written a central chapter in the recently published book "Bach's Changing World: Voices in the Community" edited by Carol K. Baron (University of Rochester Press, 2006). Van Cleves Family Values and Dysfunctional Familes: Home Life in the Moral Weeklies and Comedies of Bachs Leipzig looks at the intersection of everyday and literary life during the transition from medieval to middle-class culture in this German hub. The author has given a copy of the book to Lindell Library.

Put some pep into your step Message: The Augsburg A-Club cordially invites all students, faculty and staff to join us in the 3rd Annual A-Club 5K Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, September 24. This 3.1 semi-challenging down and back course will take you through the Augsburg campus crossing Riverside Avenue taking you down and back along West River Road and the Mississippi River. All entrants who pre-register will receive a shirt for participating in this family friendly run/walk! You still have time to train so put some pep into the 'ol step and join us on the 24th!
