Diane Pike, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), and Barbara Edwards Farley, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College, are pleased to announce the new CTL Assistant Directors. Carol Knicker of the Education Department will serve as the Assistant Director for Programming. She will be leading opportunities to sustain and improve effective teaching and learning, including workshops, retreats and consultations. Carol?s professional background, love of students, and dedication to Augsburg will be a welcome addition to the staff as we continue our work to expand faculty development opportunities and to support faculty and staff collaboration.

Message: For the next couple of weeks there will be 3 brand new pieces of aerobic equipment in the fitness center for you to demo. Please take time to come down and check out the precor treadmill, X-trainer and upright bike. We want to know what you think and need your input to help us determine what to include in the new fitness center. Please take time to jot us a note at: <fitness@augsbur.edu> and tell us what you think of the new equipment or other thoughts on what should be included in our planning.
