Don Stoner presents at CoSIDA
Message: Sports Information Director Don Stoner was part of a presentation at the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Workshop in Nashville, Tenn., July 2-5. Stoner was involved in a presentation: "Job Interview Do's and Don'ts", which utilized people acting in improv style in roles of SIDs in various stages of their careers interviewing for a job. The presentation was intended to show younger SIDs what to do and not to do in the interview and resume process. Stoner took part in the presentation along with moderators Eric McDowell of Union (N.Y.) and Patricia Pierce (Vanderbilt Opportunity Development Center), and fellow "actors" Leigh Matejkovic of Neumann (Pa.) and Oliver Pierce of Gonzaga (Wash.). Sarah Griesse, Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Residence Life, successfully defended her dissertation on "The Characteristics of Effective Women Senior Student Affairs Officers." She will receive her Ph.D in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.
