Message: Augsburg elected to join the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) in 2001. AQIP is an alternative process through which Augsburg can maintain its accredited status with the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. AQIP's seven-year continuous improvement cycle replaces the comprehensive self-study and site visit that occurred every ten years. We are planning to develop an AQIP webpage this summer that will archive the College's AQIP projects. |

At the All-Hands meeting several weeks ago, President-elect Paul Pribbenow highlighted as a priority initiative defining and refreshing the Augsburg brand and story. To better align this strategy with other key college initiatives, the Department of Marketing and Communications will be moving to the Division of Institutional Advancement effective June 1, 2006. We anticipate a seamless, smooth transition and look forward to continuing our cross-campus collaborative efforts to market Augsburg College in innovative and creative ways.
