Message: Local author William Kent Krueger will meet with Professor Swanson's Eng. 225 class on Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 1:30-3 p.m. All are welcome to join us in Sci 212. Krueger is the creator of the Cork O'Connor series which began with "Iron Lake," winner of the Anthony Award for best first novel in 1998. His most recent book "Mercy Falls" was published in 2005.
Message: Come see the art of Alexander (Sasha) Voitsekhovsky, an internationally renowned artist from St. Petersburg, Russia. Sasha has been invited to showcase his works in Great Britain, Switzerland twice, and Israel twice. This is his second tour in America in the last three years. Sasha's drawings will make you smile and maybe even laugh. The exhibit will take place on the second floor of Lindell Library. Show times are as follows:
Message: Please note that the Writing Lab will not be open on Wednesday, Nov. 23, but will resume reguar hours on Sunday, Nov. 27. The normal schedule will continue through Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Resident Hall Directors attend regional conference
Message: During the second week of November, a team of Resident Hall Directors attended UMR-ACUHO, the Upper Midwest Region Association of College and University Housing Officers, as a part of a regional group of professionals organized for three specific purposes: (1) to educate, (2) to conduct research, and (3) to provide service to member institutions within the region. The RHD's are Stacy Enger (New Hall), Nina Johnson (Mortensen Hall), Keith McCoy(Urness Hall), Sheila LaFavor (Anderson Hall). They will share new ideas with staff on Monday. Subject:
