For the past year and a half Tamara Aeschliman has been running a program she designed to focus on socio-economic development for teenage mothers in Khayelitsha. She has been involved in peace building, poverty alleviation and environmental issues in Mexico and Central America and has worked with students across the US on how to bring environmental consciousness and action to their campuses and communities.
