Star Tribune Story Features Auggie Staff, Students

Thank you to Auggie staff in Admissions and Financial aid, and to students who spoke during February with Star Tribune reporter Kaitlyn Walsh about student financial issues.

Walsh spoke with Auggie faculty, and she also was on campus last month to listen to a Money Matters student panel discussion. The story, which appeared last Saturday, features comments and information from two students and two staff.

By partnering with Auggie staff and students, Augsburg was able to play a central role in the story. Read it at http://www.startribune.com/business/yourmoney/142932595.html .

Sisters' Camelot is a collective working to create sustainability in the Twin Cities. Founded in 1997, they have given away millions of dollars worth of free fresh organic produce and whole foods through their Food Share program.

In May of 2011 Sisters' Camelot kicked off a new Kitchen Bus program and have been cooking and serving free meals throughout the Twin Cities two or three days every week. A renovated Bluebird bus is equipped with a state-of-the-art kitchen. The kitchen bus allows Sisters' Camelot to provide hands-on community education relating to nutrition and food, and strengthens local neighborhoods and communities with the sharing of nourishing organic meals. Sisters' Camelot is a 501(c)(3) non-profit registered in the State of Minnesota. Please visit Sisters' Camelot online and give generously.
