Parking Permit Sales on Monday

Student parking permit sales will begin next Monday, August 24th. ALL vehicles on campus MUST display a valid parking permit 24/7.

Sales will become available on different days next week depending on each student's credit-year (i.e., first year, sophomore, junior, senior, grad).

Please visit http://www.augsburg.edu/dps/parking/parking-calendar/ to see which specific date you will be able to purchase your permit. All permits can be purchased online through Parking Services and must be picked up at the Department of Public Safety.

First-Year Student Move-In Day

Student move-in day is Friday, August 28th. Please plan ahead for your on-campus commute on the 28th given that there will be changes regarding the flow of traffic and parking lot usage beginning as early as 6 a.m. in order to manage logistics for increased traffic.

Please refer to our website to learn more details about the move-in, along with possible alternative routes to get to your designated parking lots.

We greatly appreciate your patience and efforts in working with us to make this day go as smoothly as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Food Service Hours

Friday 8/21/15

Einstein's is open from 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with a condensed menu.

The Commons is open from 7:15-8:30 a.m. for breakfast, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for lunch, and 5-7 p.m. for dinner.

Nabo is closed.


Saturday 8/22 and Sunday 8/23

Einsteins is closed Saturday and Sunday.

Nabo is closed Saturday and Sunday.

The Commons is open on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. for breakfast, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for lunch, and 3-4 p.m. for dinner. On Sunday from 7:15-8:30 a.m. for breakfast, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for lunch and from 5-7 p.m. for dinner


Nabo will be reopening on Tuesday 8/25 with a condensed menu from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. On Friday 8/28 all Food Service Locations will be returning to regular hours and full menus. Nabo will be open from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. The Commons will be open from 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Einstein's will be open from 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m., with Late Night Menu starting at 7 p.m.

Fall Classes Begin 8/31 w/ Altered Daytime Schedule

Hello,

Fall semester begins on Monday, August 31st! However, the daytime schedule is altered to accommodate City Service Day and Opening Convocation for new DAY program freshman and transfer students. These details and other important dates and deadlines can be found on the Academic Calendar at www.augsburg.edu/registrar/calendars.

A summary of the first week of classes for each program is outlined below:

DAY Program
Monday, August 31:
- NO Daytime classes: New DAY freshman & transfer students participate in AugSem, Opening Convocation & City Service Day.
- Evening classes meet as scheduled
Tuesday, September 1: Regular DAY schedule begins

AU/ROCHESTER (Undergraduate) Program
Monday, August 31: Evening classes meet as scheduled
Monday, August 31 -- Friday, September 4: Maroon on-site week / Silver online week

WEC/GRAD Program
Monday, August 31: Daytime and evening classes meet as scheduled
Friday, September 11 -- Saturday, September 12: First on-site weekend

ALL PROGRAMS
Monday, September 7: LABOR DAY HOLIDAY (no classes)

Discounted Renaissance Fest Tickets for Sale in HR

While Supplies Last - Renaissance Fest Tickets for Sale

Augsburg Office of Human Resources is pleased to offer discounted 2015 Renaissance Festival tickets available for purchase starting Monday, August 10, 2015 in Human Resources. Tickets can be purchased by check or cash. If paying by cash, please be sure to have exact amount.

The Renaissance Festival is open weekends, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., rain or shine, August 22nd through October 4th. The festival will also be open on Labor Day on September 7th and Festival Friday on October 2nd. Parking is free.

Residence Life needs your help! First-Year Student Move-In is happening on Friday, August 28th starting at 7:00 a.m. and Residence Life is reaching out for your help! We would love to have Augsburg students, staff, and faculty assist us in welcoming the incoming Auggie students, families, and guests throughout the day.
