Corn Dogs, Mini-Donuts, and a Free Ticket

Doesn't that sound like the best? The Minnesota State Fair is soon here and we are still in need of volunteers at the Augsburg Booth! The Fair runs from Thursday, August 27th-Monday, September 7 and we have shifts from 9-1, 1-5 and 5-9 still available most days. We have particular need for the evening shift, so feel free to invite another Auggie (students are more than welcome) to join you! Training is provided, but it's mostly a chance to visit with future Auggies and our wonderful alums. Let me know when you can volunteer at herron@augsburg.edu or ext. 1525 Thank you!

Excellent Seamstress Needed for Vintage Dress

I am looking for recommendations for an experienced seamstress who can alter a vintage dress. I have a maxi dress from my Great Aunt Alice, in great condition, purchased from Elsie Krassas dress shop in 1950s Waikiki, Hawaii. I'd like to wear it for my niece's wedding Aug. 29, but it needs alteration in the bodice and/or sleeves to fit me. Please call 612-330-1462 or email youngs@augsburg.edu
