New Plants
You'll see new plants in the Oren Gateway Center lobby, Admissions lobby, and refreshed plants in Lindell Library. There is just one person taking care of these plants, so please don't water them. And have you heard the old rumor that caffeine is good for plants? It's not true, so please don't pour your extra coffee, tea, or "dew" in the pots! Contact me if you'd like to report any issues with the plants.

Last Week of Summer in the Writing Lab
The Augsburg Writing Lab will be open through the last shift this week: Thursday, August 21. Regular hours will resume after classes start in the fall. Remember, summer hours are Mondays and Thursdays, 4:30-7 p.m.

IT Scheduled Maintenance 8/21
Information Technology will be performing system maintenance on the following dates, affecting different systems.
8/21/2014 5-7 p.m. Storage Appliance upgrade - Agresso, Records and Registration, Administrative Self Service affected.

While Supplies Last - Renaissance Fest Tickets
Augsburg is pleased to offer discounted 2014 Renaissance Festival tickets available for purchase starting Monday, August 11, 2014 in Human Resources. Tickets can be purchased by check or cash.
The Renaissance Festival is open weekends, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., rain or shine, August 16th through September 28th, plus Labor Day and Festival Friday on September 26th. Parking is free.

Bookstore Information this Week
The bookstore will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9am-4pm Wednesday from 9am-6pm, and Friday from 9am-3pm.
This week summer rentals are due! If you can't make it during our hours, please take advantage of our postage paid label and ship your book back!
This week, we will also be buying back purchased textbooks. Please make sure you have your Augsburg ID when selling back your textbooks.
