Call for Proposals: NAFSA Intl Ed Conference Due 8/1

Submit a proposal by August 1 for NAFSA's 2015 Annual Conference in Boston. The theme, New Horizons in International Education, challenges us all to share our best practices, reflect on trends, and debate future directions. The Annual Conference Committee wants to see the best current thinking in the field reflected in session proposals, so please consider the following questions:

+What are the emerging issues and best practices in international education's professional domains, both U.S. and global?
+What are the technological trends and future challenges/opportunities in higher education?
+What's new in assessment and student learning?
+How do we engage faculty in the internationalization agenda?
+Can higher education really develop global citizens? How are we doing that?

NAFSA is committed to building a program that will appeal to all professional levels of attendees: new, mid-career, or seasoned. We encourage proposals from professionals in the United States, as well as from our counterparts in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the rest of the Americas.

The Conference will be held in Boston, Massachusetts, May 24-29, 2015. It's the largest gathering in the field of International Education.

Be sure to read how to develop a plan for your proposal, determine your audience, and learn how to submit your proposal. Session and workshop proposals are due August 1, 2014. Poster proposals are due December 15, 2014.
