Spring Parking Sales
Spring parking permit sales are well underway. If you had a fall only permit or no permit at all and plan to park on campus this term, it's time to register!
Permits are still available for:
Fac/Staff surface lots
Resident & Commuter surface lots
PA & MBA permits
Luther Underground (very limited)

Fiscal 2014-15 Budget Managers Training Date: 1/16
Due to the Arctic cold and school closure, we did not have the training session last Monday.
The second of three training sessions will be held on Thursday, January 16 in Oren Gateway Center suite 100 between 10:00-11:00 a.m.
This training is designed to help new budget managers navigate the budget cycle and introduce them to the Excel budget templates. However, all budget managers are welcome. Please note if you are already familiar with this process, nothing has changed from last year.
As a reminder, the divisional leadership will review individual budgets the week of February 3. If you think you'll need an extension, please contact your VP/Dean. Leadership will submit finalized budgets to Finance on February 10.
The last training session will be held Wednesday, January 29 between 10:00-11:00 a.m.
General Announcements
Telephone Maintenance on 1/14/14 at 6:15 p.m.
At 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, maintenance will be performed on the campus telephone system. This maintenance will interrupt all campus telephone service for approximately 1-2 minutes. During these few minutes, campus telephones will not be able receive or place any calls.
At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, updates will be installed to the campus voicemail system. During these software updates, there will be several intermittent outages of campus voicemail. We estimate the total duration of the software updates to be approximately 2 hours or less. The telephone system will remain active during the campus voicemail software updates.

Check Your Payroll Deductions Closely
The first payroll of the new year is January 10. Please take a moment and carefully review your payroll deductions. For benefit eligible employees, this payroll will reflect your 2014 benefit elections. If you feel that the deductions do not match what you elected for 2014 benefits, Human Resources must be notified no later than January 17.
Cards and Memorials for Professor Annette Gerten
To our Augsburg Community:
We continue to express our profound sadness at Professor Gerten's sudden death. We are also mindful of her family's grief and loss. The social work department has a memorial box for the Gerten family. You are invited to stop by the social work office in Memorial Hall to drop off your cards and letters. In a few weeks we will present your thoughts and memories to Annette's husband (Jim) and to her three children (Charlie, Grace, & Joe).

Free Skate with the Men's Hockey Team
This Saturday, the Men's Hockey team will be playing a 4:05 p.m. game vs. Concordia University Wisconsin. After the game, you are invited to join the Auggie players on the ice for a skate-with-the-team event.
