Need Office Furniture for Your Home Office?
Continuing all week, you may claim excess furniture in the basement corridor of Foss for your personal use or to donate to a non-profit organization you support. Please walk all four sides and see lots of desks, file cabinets, misc. cabinets, chairs, even some carpeting! On any items that are NOT previously marked for an office location, place a sticky note with your name and "PERSONAL." Please haul away your item(s) by Friday, August 23. If you need reasonable additional time, please contact me via email and I will try to accommodate your request.
Modification to Resident Unlock Policy
During the past academic year, the Day Student Government initiated a conversation with the Department of Public Safety regarding the residential room unlock policy.
The Day Student Government requested that a review of our resident unlock policy be conducted. The scope of the request was related to the charges associated with residential room unlocks and the possibility of offering a fee waiver.
The result of this discussion and policy review has lead to a one-time fee waiver for each residential student. This waiver may be used once per academic year by a residential student.
In order to simplify this process, the first request from a student for a resident unlock will not result in a charge. Each subsequent residential room unlock over the academic year will be charged the standard $20 fee to your student account.
