Nabo:
Nabo is offering a new meal replacement special, one meal plan meal per week can be used to purchase the special of the day at Nabo from 1:30 p.m. to close. Hot apple cider is now available at Nabo!
Today the special is a BLT on wheat with chips and a fountain soda.
Stop by Einstein's for our special this week. Add a cup of soup to your lunch sandwich or salad purchase for only $1.50.

The Commons currently is having a Candy Corn Counting Competition. Stop by to guess how many candy corns are in the jar for a chance to win a gift card or flex points.

Call for Papers: Honors Review
The Honors Review is accepting submissions for its 2012-2013 volume!

The Honors Review is an academic journal published yearly through the Augsburg College Honors Program. Over the past several years, the Honors Review has distinguished itself nationwide by publishing volumes of excellent scholarship submitted by students from various institutions across the country. The Review aims to carefully select and publish quality research at the undergraduate level. All submissions meeting the criteria of the journal will undergo a blind peer review process and receive feedback from a peer editor as well as a faculty referee. The editorial team encourages students of all disciplines to submit their work and seize this unique opportunity for publication.
Priority Deadline: November 15
Final Deadline: January 15
Those who submit by the priority deadline will receive immediate feedback as well as an opportunity to revise and resubmit their work based on the editorial suggestions. Submissions should be approximately 6,000 to 10,000 words in length. McNair Birthday & Open House
Celebrate the birthday of Ronald E. McNair, whose life and academic pursuits inspired the creation of the McNair Scholars Program. McNair was one of the seven astronauts who died during the launch of the Space Shuttle Challenger. His legacy and commitment to higher education continues through the McNair Program, as Scholars pursue their doctoral degrees and contribute to the growing number of underrepresented groups in graduate study.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a physician, physician's assistant, or medical student? Come to a panel discussion featuring an M.D., a P.A. and two medical students. They will provide some background about their particular training and their path into health care. Following their comments there will be a question and answer session.

Check out more than 100 graduate schools, medical schools, and law schools at the U of M's Coffman Union TODAY from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (stop by any time). You can browse programs, talk with admissions representatives, and even attend workshops on how to apply for graduate school and write effective personal statements. Coffman Union is a short walk from here and has many food options if you decide to attend over lunch! If you would prefer to walk over to the fair with a group from Augsburg, please contact urgo@augsburg.edu.
