Open Forum: Conversation about Telling Our Story
Augsburg College is in the final rounds of interviewing for the open Media Relations Director position. We had an amazing response to the job posting and the opportunity to talk with many very qualified candidates to get to this point.
We now are inviting the two final candidates back to campus to participate in an open forum discussion about telling our story. The format is intended to be a conversation, rather than a presentation or interview, and will kick off with the candidate sharing some thoughts about telling an institutional story in today's world of real-time news and social media. The remainder of the time, then, will be dedicated to an open conversation about the topic.
Two sessions are scheduled:
Tuesday, Feb. 15, 10 to 11 a.m., OGC 100
Thursday, Feb. 17, 2 to 3 p.m., The Augsburg Room
Additional background information about the respective candidate will be provided in each session.
For more info, e-mail Rebecca John, AVP, Marketing and Communication, rjohn@augsburg.edu .

Last Chance to See Penner vs the Hydra this Weekend
Hi Folks! I am appearing in this show which is running the first 2 weekends in February at the Cedar Riverside Peoples Center. Penner vs the Hydra
by phillip andrew bennet low
"...my love is like the hydra: for each part you cut away, it comes back twice as strong."
In this bawdy bacchanal featuring witty one-liners, fallacious philosophy, and dazzling dance, a fallen Catholic in a police state must justify his penchant for polyamorous relationships by coming up with a legal definition of love.
***WARNING: This show contains profanity, partial nudity, and adult humor***
It's an age of evolving definitions, and Maximum Verbosity, the original lords of loquacity, are taking on the legislation of love in a new romantic comedy set against the exploits of the ancient heroes. Biblical figures, Greek gods, and enraged ex-lovers all come into conflict in this comically cacophanous quest.
Thursday, February 10th at 7:30pm (pay-what-you-can night)
Friday, February 11th at 7:30pm
Saturday, February 12th at 7:30pm (closing; two-for-one couples night)
At The Peoples Center Theatre
