General Announcements
Correction to 1/4/10 A-Mail
There was a typo in the 1/4/10 A-Mail Announcement regarding timesheets and absence reports. It was incorrectly stated that all monthly paid employees will be paid biweekly beginning January, 2010. This should have read that all monthly paid employees will be paid biweekly beginning January, 2011, which is one year from now.
I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

The Augsburg College women's hockey team's clinic with the Minnesota Special Hockey's Woodbury Eagles squad was featured on the WCCO-TV (Channel 4 in the Twin Cities) 10 p.m. news on Sunday (1/3).
On Sunday morning, the Auggies held a clinic and fun game for members of the Woodbury Eagles, a team in the Minnesota Special Hockey organization. According to the organization's website, "Minnesota Special Hockey exists for the enrichment of the athlete with a developmental disability. In addition to physical hockey skills, the program emphasizes the development of desirable individual characteristics such as dependability, self-reliance, concentration, willingness to share and personal accountability. The game of hockey is used by Special Hockey to develop within each player the characteristics that will help the player to be more successful both inside and outside a hockey environment."
The Auggies hosted the Woodbury Eagles squad, one of five teams in the Minnesota Special Hockey organization, at the Augsburg Ice Arena. The team directed the Eagles players in a clinic, then split into two squads for a fun game. After the game, the Auggies and Eagles enjoyed a reception in the Kennedy Center.

Taking REL 200? I Have Textbooks
I just took REL 200 this Fall, and I am selling my textbooks. The books that I have that are still being used in REL 200 in the Spring are...
Siddhartha, Peace is Every Step, God's Long Summer, and The Good Book.
The four books would cost over $45.00 used from the bookstore. I am asking $30.00 for all of them.
Let me know if you are interested in buying!
