Goliards host Medieval Game Night
Message: It's NOT "Dungeons and Dragons"! The Goliard Society of Medievalist will host an evening of games that were actually played during the Middle Ages. Learn "Hnefatafl", a strategy game played by the Vikings; "Knucklebones and Fivestones", a game of dexterity; and "Riddling", in which a knight must prove that his wordplay is as good as his swordplay! We'll also have more familiar board games like chess and Nine Men's Morris. Medieval Game Night will take place in on Tuesday, April 10, from 6 to 9 p.m., in Sverdrup 202. Refreshments will be served. For more info, contact Phil Adamo, adamo@augsburg.edu. Subject: Summer & Fall Book Request Message: Please submit Summer & Fall Book request by Monday April 9th. Book request may be e-mailed to solerl@augsburg.edu or called in at x1521. All faculty who place an order by April 9th may stop by the store for a free t-shirt.
