CTL Professional Travel Funds: Important Notice
Message: The Center for Teaching and Learning has committed the yearly amount of regular professional travel funds for conferences and is no longer accepting applications. The good news is we have supported many faculty this past summer and fall and have approved proposals already submitted for upcoming conferences this spring. In fact, we were able to award more than our budget line for faculty conferences. There are still summer research, international travel and some Bush Funds available. Please also note that Dean Farley and the Committee are working on a plan to co-ordinate Dean's office and CTL travel funds into one easier to access location beginning next academic year. Please watch for notification of changes later this spring. The Committee on Faculty Development Subject: Q & A: Queer & Augsburg Message:

Free items
Message: I have two items that I will gladly give to someone. The first is an old Emerson refrigerator that would be good for an office. My son got it as a hand-me-down for this residence hall room. No guarantees how much longer it will last. It is the typical small size. Also, I have a Sharper Image Quadra Silent Breeze Air Purifier that I will give to someone. There is differing data on the usefulness of these kinds of purifiers. Again my son used this in his residence hall room. Call me if you are interested in either item. Subject:
