As children growing up in the US we learn that Thanksgiving is about the Pilgrims and the Indians coming together for a feast. As is usually the case, the story might be different depending on the perspective of the principals involved. I encourage you to research for yoursleves the Native version of this national holiday.

Message: The Center for Counseling & Health Promotion invites interested Weekend College students to sign up for a free chair massage on Saturday, December 1. We will have two therapists from 11:30 - 1:30 p.m. in the Marshall Room of Christensen Center for 5 -7 minute chair massages. Space is limited and you should call Dianne at 612-330-1707 for a time slot. Get ready for the holidays and enjoy a little stress relief compliments of CCHP. This is for WEC students only since it's a WEC weekend. Enjoy!

Faculty volunteers are needed to meet with the marketing consulting firm retained by the College for the "Augsburg Promise" initiative.
Message: Most lab science courses will require a separate registration for the lab. When scheduling courses, be sure to register for both the course and the lab. Please check your active course listings on AugNet Records and Registration to ensure you are properly registered for both the lecture section and the corresponding lab section. Use the course listing on AugNet Records and Registration to determine if your science course does have a required lab.

Beginning Monday, November 27, Student Computing will activate additional features of the Clean Access agent. Currently, the Clean Access agent is only being used to register computers on the Augsburg network. The features being activated will assist students in making sure their own personal computers are protected against viruses, and that all security updates are in place.
Message: Email services will be intermittently available beginning Thursday, November 23 at 12:01 a.m. and lasting until Friday, November 24 at 11:59 p.m. During this time, email sent to Augsburg will be queued and delivered when the systems are online. It will not be possible to send email from Augsburg. This maintenance is part of our ongoing efforts to improve email performance and availability. If you have any concerns or questions, please direct them to your LFC or, if you are a student, to Student Computing.
