The 3rd annual "Building Minnesota's Healthcare Workforce Through Diversity" conference is scheduled for Monday, May 22 from 8 a.m- 5 p.m. at Augsburg College. The theme for this year's conference is Strategies for Success. The goal of the conference is to provide participants with evidence of successful strategies for growing, nurturing, and sustaining a talented, diverse healthcare workforce. There will be a morning panel, an afternoon general session, 8 concurrent in-depth sessions, a networking lunch and exhibit area. This is a collaborative conference sponsored by Augsburg College, the University of Minnesota Academic Health Center, Fairview Health Services, and the Healthcare Education Industry Partnership.

Great news! Last Friday, Augsburg received a multi million dollar gift for the Gateway Building that allows us to begin construction this summer. Details are being finalized and we'll announce the identity of the donor in a big way very soon. We plan to ask the Board of Regents this week to authorize the financing necessary to break ground.
Message: The ballots for the Staff Senate elections have gone out, so if you haven't taken the time, please fill out the form choosing two candidates. Please send the forms back to CB 103 by Friday. Thanks!
