Identity theft is a rapidly growing crime· and once you are a victim, it is challenging and time consuming to repair your credit. Stop by the East Commons on Tuesday, March 28th at noon to learn how to prevent personal identity theft. All students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend this event. The ACTC Human Resources Committee is sponsoring a program titled The Signature Project. The program is scheduled at Macalester College in the John B. Davis Lecture Hall in the Campus Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2006.
Message: The first MBA/ABO social networking event will be held on Wednesday, March 29th. The evening will start at 5 p.m. with a casual dinner at Augsburg to learn about the stories, work experiences and career advice of current Augsburg MBA students. This is a chance for undergraduate students to hear from fellow Auggie business students who have been out in the work world and have returned for graduate work. After dinner, we will head to the Target Center for a 7 p.m. tip-off between the Timberwolves and the Orlando Magic. Cost is $12 which includes dinner and your ticket to the Timberwolves. To help students prepare entries for the All-Student Juried Exhibition, the Art Department is offering a drop-in matting and framing workshop on Tuesday, March 28 from 2:30 - 5 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 29 from 5-7:30 p.m. Activities will take place in the basement of Old Main. Some free frames and matboard at low cost will be available.

The URGO Selection Committee plans to make decisions about funding by April 5th. We know that everyone is eager to hear in order to finalize summer plans. Given the large number of applicants--29--it will take the committee some time to give all the applications fair consideration. Candidates will be notified via e-mail as soon as the decision has been made.
