Message: This summer, think about making an impact in the world. Work at an ELCA camp! You could be making a difference in the life of children and adults by being a camp counselor, kitchen staff, maintenance crew, day camp staff, canoe or backpacking guide, or many other jobs. Representatives from over 30 ELCA camps will be on campus, TONIGHT, February 16 from 4:00-6:30 in the East Commons. In addition to your camp pay, you can apply for a Camp Stipend from the Exploring Our Gifts office. Contact Ross Murray at x1151 or murray@augsburg.edu to find out more about the stipend. Stipends are worth $500 apiece and are paid at the completion of the summer.
Message: Join us for a 2-day training that will teach you the skills to effectively make the change you want in your world. Campus Camp Wellstone is coming to campus March 31 - April 1. This event will teach participants skills in leadership, political action, and civic engagement. All students are encouraged to participate, regardless of party affiliation. We strongly believe that all should learn the skills to become more politically active. If you have questions or want to sign up, contact Maggie at dornfeld@augsburg.edu or call 612-656-6532.

As you may know, President Frame allocated over $100,000 to Human Resources and the Center for Teaching and Learning to support collaborative efforts to sustain and improve the work culture at Augsburg College. We need your input as to how to best spend these resources to make Augsburg a distinctive and vocationally supportive place to work.
