A memorial service for Jack Parker, husband of Patricia Parker and father of Jackie Cherryhomes and Sarah Parker, will be held in the Hoversten Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28th. Jack, who died on January 15th, served as Curator of the James Ford Bell Library at the University of Minnesota for 40 years. His widow, Pat, was a long-time employee of the College, serving as Assistant Librarian from 1960 to 1962, Associate Professor of Library Science from 1962 to 1978, and Associate Dean from 1978 until her retirement in 1991. Their daughters are both alumnae of the College and Jackie serves on our Board of Regents.
