Message: Several people have inquired about any flu clinic on campus this year. We will not be having an on-site clinic because initially the vaccine was to have been in short supply again and colleges were not in highest risk group of people. Now the vaccine is available but delayed by vendors and it's too late to schedule an on-site clinic. So we encourage you to check the MVNA website at www.mvna.org That site lists all the locations of public flu shot clinics dates and locations. No appointments are needed and the cost is $19.00 Also, Smiley's Clinic may have vaccine available in the near future -- as soon as their vendor delivers their supply. When it becomes available individual appointments can be made at Smiley's for a flu shot, too. If you have other specific questions, please feel free to call the Counseling & Health Promotion office at 612-330-1707.

Change your plans if you had them, because there is going to be a night of amazing and fun entertainment in the Christensen Center Friday from 8-11pm. We have a poker night in the East Commons, where you can play poker, texas hold'em, blackjack, and possibly win $100 from Best Buy, or other prizes. In West Commons there is a Latin dance, with free lessons from 8-8:30 p.m. Downstairs by the coffee shop we have a spa night for those who just want to relax. Get a haircut, a back massage, give yourself a pedicure or a manicure, and eat some chocolate of course.
