New - Compostable Hand Towels

You may have noticed new hand towel dispensers/towels in campus rest rooms. Not only are these towels more sustainably manufactured with less water, they are compostable. As a pilot program, you will see compost containers in the rest rooms in Foss and Music buildings. Please place all used hand towels in the labeled compost container and all other trash in the smaller trash container nearby. An Edina high school student is assisting Augsburg with this effort as an environmental studies project. Thanks for your participation in this "Green by 2019" initiative.

Take Time This Summer to Plan Study Abroad/Away

The Study Abroad/Away office provided daily Info Sessions all academic year, where students learn the basics about their opportunities: program choices around the world and in the US, financial aid and scholarships, and more.

The daily *pre-scheduled* sessions are wrapping up this week, but we encourage students interested in study abroad/away to contact us next week or anytime this summer to talk about study abroad/away!

Staff are in the office all summer and glad to do Info Sessions or 1-on-1 meetings by appointment, at whatever time works best for you. Use the slower pace of summer to get your program choice nailed down, so you can start next fall stress-free with a program in mind!
