Auggies Get Registered - Apr. 6-15

MARCH 23, 2009

Starting next week, Day College students will begin registering for the 2009 fall semester. Adjustments to the registration schedule and forthcoming changes in graduation requirements make this registration period one of special interest to students and advisers.

Day students will now register according to class status (senior, junior, etc.) and last name. Each class has two full business days to complete registration before the next class begins.

Your first opportunity to register online or in person at the Enrollment Center is:

  • Seniors (last names A-Z) - Monday, Apr. 6 at 7 a.m.
  • Juniors (last names N-Z) - Wednesday, Apr. 8 at 7 a.m.
  • Juniors (last names A-M) - Wednesday, Apr. 8 at 5 p.m.
  • Sophomores (last names N-Z) - Monday, Apr. 13 at 7 a.m.
  • Sophomores (last names A-M) - Monday, Apr. 13 at 5 p.m.
  • First-years (last names N-Z) - Wednesday, Apr. 15 at 7 a.m.
  • First-years (last names A-M - Wednesday, Apr. 15 at 5 p.m.

Auggies Register Workshops

Learn all about the Core Curriculum, major requirements, new registration process, and updates to Records & Registration from the knowledgeable, friendly Academic Advising staff. RSVP to advising@augsburg.edu and we will have an audit of your Core Curriculum requirements when you arrive.

Peer Advising

Cody Warren, peer adviser with Academic Advising, will be available for drop-in advising on Mar. 31, Apr. 2, 7, and 9 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Christensen Center lobby. MORE...

ACTC Registration

Students must register for ACTC classes April 20 - May 1 at the Enrollment Center. Students who miss this deadline will have to get a signature from the professor on the first day of class in the fall semester.

Registration Holds

To prepare for registration, Day students must meet with their faculty adviser to plan their course schedule and have their advising hold removed.

Students must also clear any financial or paperwork holds on their account. "Alert messages" regarding holds are visible on the AugNet Records & Registration Welcome screen.

Registration Assistance

Students who are unable to register at the designated date and time should contact the Enrollment Center. The Enrollment Center will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Apr. 8, 13, and 15.
