Free yoga, tai chi and pilates classes help manage stress
Yoga and tai chi classes are offered every week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the Marshall room of Christensen Center. Yoga sessions run from noon - 1 p.m., and Tai Chi sessions from 5 - 6 p.m.
The newly introduced pilates classes will resume on April 4. They will take place every Wednesday from noon - 1 p.m. in the Marshall Room.
Patty Park, coordinator of the MAL and Nursing programs says, “I find that participating in the yoga program helps me maintain flexibility and gives me tools for stress reduction. I also enjoy the intergenerational aspect of the program. A wide age-range is represented in the students, staff, and faculty who attend.”
