Art professor Tara Sweeney exhibits
Whether traveling a pilgrimage trail, teaching on a riverbank, or working plein air, Tara Sweeney, Assistant Professor in Studio Arts at Augsburg, is awed by the world.
Her love of walking, teaching, painting, and drawing have come together in the creation of the mixed media series: "Listen: A Pilgrimage in Water and Ink," showing in the Christensen Center Gallery from February 23 – March 30.
“Exhibiting my art work at the Christensen Center Gallery is an honor. As a teacher and an artist it allows me to engage with a community I care very much about in a way that matters deeply to me," she tells us.
Join her in the Christensen Center Art Gallery on Friday, Feb. 23, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. for the opening reception. There will be a gallery talk on Friday, Mar. 9 at 4 p.m.
