Masterworks Chorale to perform a “Symphony of Psalms”
The Masterworks Chorale of Augsburg, under the direction of Dr. Peter Hendrickson, will perform a “Symphony of Psalms” on Sunday, April 1, 4 p.m. in Hoversten Chapel, Foss Center on the Augsburg campus.
The Chorale, soloists and orchestra will perform works by Byrd, Nystedt, Bach, Mendelssohn and Handel.
The Masterworks Chorale is a unique mix of auditioned Augsburg College day students, Weekend College students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community friends. An established dynamic choral ensemble in the Twin Cities, which is built on Augsburg College’s strong choral tradition, the Masterworks Chorale is dedicated to performing great choral masterworks as well as exploring new ones.
Tickets are $12 general public, $10 seniors and students, Augsburg students free with ID.
