Workshops arm students with job-hunting skills
Every year over 100 Augsburg undergrads attend the Minnesota Private Colleges Job & Internship Fair. A great resource for Auggies who are looking for internships or getting ready to enter the workforce, this year’s fair will be Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the Minneapolis Convention Center and is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $10.
The annual event connects students with over 175 businesses and organizations that are actively recruiting or looking to network.
The Center for Service, Work and Learning (CSWL) sets students up to succeed by conducting a series of workshops in preparation for the fair. Resume writing and interviewing are two of the topics covered.
