Bill Green to continue running Minneapolis schools

Augsburg Associate History Professor Bill Green will continue his role as superintendent of the Minneapolis schools, after a unanimous vote from the school board on Tuesday.
Green had previously stepped into the role of interim superintendent after the forced resignation of Thandiwe Peebles. Previously he had served two terms on the school board.
Professor Green has been at Augsburg since 1991. Courses he has taught include American Legal History, History of Civil Rights, Minnesota History, History of African American Religion, The African American Experience, and History of African American Education.
