Theatre Connections Day at Augsburg
On Wednesday, April 18, the Department of Theatre Arts will be hosting Theatre Connections Day, an opportunity for high school students to learn more about theatre in a college-level setting.
This year's event includes students from Armstrong, Hastings, and Mounds View High Schools. Students will attend workshop classes led by faculty and current Augsburg theatre students on topics such as Fundamentals of Movement, Crafting Performance from Personal Narrative, and Crafting Performance with Structural Apparatus or Props.
After lunch, students will attend a production of Augsburg's sold-out spring musical “The Threepenny Opera.” Due to the popularity of "The Threepenny Opera," open seats of this performance are being offered to the public. The performance is at 12:15 p.m.
